 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actress in her early years as a child. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and then from 2020 on - made her famous. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two, she and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school after her sophomore years. She obtained a GED and went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
