Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott, born June 16 1987, is an American actor and comedian. She was a Saturday Night Live cast member from 2008 until 2012. Since then , she's starred in the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out as well as the NBC sitcom Indebted. She is the daughter of actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the larger of two children and was born in New York City. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert, a talent manager, and Chris Elliott (actor/comedian). Her father was Bob Elliott (radio comedian). She is the younger sibling of actress Bridey Elliott. Both were born in Wilton, Connecticut. She attended high school in Immaculate High School in Danbury, Connecticut, where she was a part of school plays and musicals. After graduating from Immaculate High School in 2005 she went to Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but she dropped out within her first semester. Elliott also dated Fred Armisen in 2010. Their relationship ended in September of the year 2011. On September 3 of 2016, Elliott was married on September 3, 2016 to Bill Kennedy, a television writer. Edith Pepper Kennedy was born to them. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and then began to perform and train in different sketch comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
