Jessica Alba
Jessica Marie Alba is an American actress and
businesswoman. She started her TV and film careers at the age of thirteen with
Camp Nowhere, and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994). At age 19, she rose to
fame as the leading actress of Dark Angel (2000–2002), for the which she
received an Golden Globe nomination. Honey (2003) was her most successful
screen debut. She soon became a Hollywood actress and has appeared in a variety
of films that have made the box office a roaring success throughout her career which
include Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
(2007), Good Luck Chuck (2007), The Eye (2008), Valentine's Day (2010), Little
Fockers (2010) and Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). [9She has also been a
frequent collaborator with Robert Rodriguez. Alba starred in Spectrum's
action-crime drama series L.A. Finest from 2019 until 2020. Alba co-founded The
Honest Company (a consumer goods company that sells products for household,
personal, and baby use) in 2011. Magazines such as Men's Health as well as FHM
and Vanity Fair included her among their list of the most beautiful women.
Jessica Marie Alba, a daughter of Mark David Alba (nee Jensen), was born in
Pomona California on April 28, 1981. Her maternal grandparents are both Mexican
immigrants are of Danish, Welsh German, English and French descent. Joshua is
her younger brother. Gustavo Arellano is her third cousin. Her father was an
Air Force pilot and took the family to Biloxi (Mississippi) and Del Rio
(Texas), after which they returned to Claremont in California at nine years of
age. Alba described her family's conservative nature as a traditional, Catholic
and Latin American family. However, she describes her own liberal views since
she's declared herself feminist since when she was five years old.
