Emily Ratajkowski
Emily O'Hara Ratajkowski born June 7, 1991, is an American model and actress. She was born in London to American parents, and was raised in San Diego, she first was featured on the cover of March's issue of the erotic magazine treats! This led to her appearing in two music videos: Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (the number-one song of 2013 in many countries) as well as Maroon 5's "Love Somebody". Ratajkowski appeared in 2015 and 2014 Sports Illustrated swimsuit magazines. In 2015, she was able to make her runway debut modeling for Marc Jacobs during New York Fashion Week. Since since then, she's walked on Paris Fashion Week's runway for Miu Miu. Ratajkowski was featured in a Buick Super Bowl commercial (2016). She is also a spokesperson for brands such DKNY, The Frye Company Kerastase, Paco Rabanne and DL1961. Ratajkowski started her acting career in San Diego as a young child. In 2009, Ratajkowski became a regular on Nickelodeon's iCarly (2009-2010). Her feature film film debut was as Ben Affleck’s mistress, in Gone Girl (2014). Her other roles include Entourage (2015). We Are Your Friends 2015., I Feel Pretty (2018). Welcome Home 2018 (2018). She was also in the mini-series The Spoils Before Dying (2015). Easy (2016) was her first anthology. Ratajkowski has been an advocate and spokesperson for Planned Parenthood's women's issues. Her views on sexuality have been met with criticism and praise from men and women. She has also been self-identified as feminist. Ratajkowski was exposed to the nude female figures in art and photography during her childhood, including by her father's work and the photography of Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts and Herb Ritts. This exposure prepared her for nude work. She once said, "We have a culture of males, especially watching porn. But then [they] are offended [by a nude portrait or photograph. And I've never experienced this." Her work was also influenced influenced in part by third-wave feminist thought and works such The Beauty Myth and Promiscuities of Naomi Wolf.
